Enterprise Desktop Software Renewal and Expansion
A world-class Midwestern yacht manufacturer had received an early renewal offer from the vendor and needed to know if it was market competitive and compatible with their deployment of software and hardware.
An evaluation of the proposal and the current business practices showed there was a value gap between the proposal and the company requirements. A new proposal was developed and presented to the vendor that included discounted costs and consolidation of services.
A customized agreement with price concessions was secured resulting in a reduction of 16% in the enterprise agreement without changes in software distribution or licensing.
